busy not busy

hurry up and wait. that seems to be my mantra this week. i've built a full schedule for the week, but as i look back on it as it comes to a close, i see how many things didn't happen, and how many others took their place.

things seem to be pretty steady and set for the next quarter of so. however, those things have happened in ways different from the usual. nothing that has derailed me thus far (knock on wood) but still i've had to run around a few times, and stand a wait at others.

all in all, a good week. actually a great week. my ukkonen thing is coming together really nicely. the manor made for amazing discussion, with the help of a bottle of wein, to be clear.

i write this is haste, as another change in my schedule has me leaving mon chez moi for a meeting of sorts. me. questions to me. me. answering. good things could come.

also, somewhat unexpectedly my 'rents are coming up this weekend, which is always nice. prince and i will come back to town to visit with them. and, i think i might have double booked our saturday night. oops. a throw-back to a few years ago when i would regularly double- or even triple-book myself. i never thought i was a busy person social butterfly (papillio socialis if you've read me from the start) but my friends pointed out my over-booking habits and that i was in fact a somewhat popular person and had many a plan at the weekend.
